Hi Newgrounds and world.

Check out my newest Flash, "Tea Leaf Dancers". Was made for Flash-class at school, I tried something a bit weird and experimental without going all abstract and surreal or anything like that (which I've never done but it's probably what I would do if I truly did something "experimental" - everything you make is an experiment of some sort anyway)

Music is by Flying Lotus and it syncs well so if you like that kind of thing check it out! linky:

You know, I couldn't help notice that the rating for "Snowbot" has gone from like 3.76 initially to 4.15 after winning Daily 3rd, to 3.86 soon after, to 4.31 now.

I think Newgrounds voters must be bi-polar!

wow really? I didnt know it had gone down at all after getting it's daily 3rd but i haven't been following it that closely, i was kinda catching up on sleep after i submitted it :D i slept so many hours damn

I did notice that just before the daily awards, it dropped from its 4.14 down to 3.x.
I would of gotten daily 1st heh not that it matters im dead happy anyway
its pretty normal for flash scores to fluctuate like that I think, especially when they get on front page, so many people see them that if they have a really high score then it will probably drop, and if its kinda average then it might go up.

replying to your reply on my review, I checked wikipedia and it's probably incomplete. the program the tablet came with it simply called "ArtRage 2.5 Wacom edition" and you can work with layers, etc. The tablet I got my sister is a wacom bamboo and its just 50EU so its simple but it works like a charm. and its a great price considering it comes with Artrage...

Geez. It kinda makes me wish that I had been able to follow what happened when mine hit the front page, instead of being without internet for a week.

When I came back, it was off the front page already and my rating had stabilized at about .50 more than what it was on the first day. If that had been the initial rating, I would've won daily 1st instead of not winning anything. :p But I think I also chose very bad timing by submitting it at 4am when only weirdos were online (not that it could be avoided, because I had a plane flight that day).

Regarding ArtRage, the ArtRage forums are quite a nice place to post your work and get some comments (and it's an even better place to get inspiration by seeing what others can do with the program). For some reason, most of the people who use ArtRage seem to be traditional naturalistic artists, quite different from typical PhotoShop people.

What school do u go to that they teach flash? they only teach VB and Java at meh high school T-T.

I did 1 year at an animation school, didnt do the second. i learnt flash over the internet, just practice alot. they barely taught us any flash in animation school.
at my highschool we didnt even learn html!
